Nicoletta Costa is Italy’s best-selling and best-loved children’s author. She has illustrated over 350 books and has written most of them.
For Nicoletta writing and illustrating was an early passion, her debut was at the age of 12 when she published her first book entitled “Storia di un Pesciolino Piccolo” (The Story of a Baby Fish), book series “Lo Zibaldone” Edited by Anita Pittoni.
Born in Trieste (Italy) in 1953, Nicoletta studied at the University of Venice (Italy) where she graduated in Architecture in 1978. Upon her return to Trieste, Nicoletta dedicated 2 years in her father’s architectural firm before focusing her time exsclusively to her passion for children’s books.
